continental : With the summer climate watering must be done often and regularly; every time the soil dries completely, let’s water it deep down with 1-2 buckets of water. Usually irrigation takes place every 1-2 weeks.

alpine : During the summer months it is best to water quite often, although we mustn’t exceed; use about 0-1 buckets of water. We suggest leaving the soil dry for 2-3 weeks before watering again.

mediterranean : Let’s irrigate the soil every 0-1 weeks, but only if it has been perfectly dry for at least one day; when there are atmospheric precipitations, or if it’s cloudy, we can suspend watering. We should remember anyhow that watering should be carried out by wetting the soil deep down.

Fertilization Nymphaea : During the summer period it usually isn’t necessary to fertilize aquatic plants; if we ‘re planting new plants let’s remember to add granular slow release fertilizer to the soil.
