Oxalis magellanica

continental : Plant which needs at least a few hours a day of solar rays.

mediterranean : The watering must be very regular and frequent, using 2,5 litres of water, so that the soil is always slightly damp, avoiding excesses and water stagnation. A good rule is to wet every 0-0 weeks.

Fertilize Oxalis magellanica : In the summer let’s fertilize periodically, using a fertilizer for flowering plants, to add to the irrigating water every 10-15 days; we can otherwise use a slow release fertilizer, to spread near the plants every 3-4 months.

Pests Oxalis magellanica : During the summer months it is best to apply precise treatments, specifically against each type of parasite, to be used only when we have already noticed the presence of fungus or insects on our plants; these treatments should be applied during the coolest hours of the day. In general during this period of the year an infesting of ticks and rust is very likely to occur, because its development is favoured by dry climates.
