alpine : Plant which needs at least a few hours a day of solar light.
During the summer the The Thymus serpyllum can be grown in the garden; during the rest of the year it should be located in a sheltered place.

mediterranean : We suggest placing the The Thymus serpyllum so that it can receive at least a few hours of direct solar rays.
We suggest cultivating these plants outdoors, but only during the spring and summer months.

continental : Let’s try to always keep the growing substratum of the The Thymus serpyllum damp, watering very frequently with 1,5 litres of water; if the weather is very hot and dry we even water every 1-2 weeks.

alpine : As the hot season arrives, these plants need abundant and regular watering, using 0,5 litres of water, which keep the soil cool and damp; let’s water every 2-3 weeks, or even more often if it is very hot.

mediterranean : The Thymus serpyllum loves damp and cool soils, therefore it is necessary to water it very often, keeping the soil slightly damp; in any case it is always advisable to avoid water stagnation and excess watering: it is best to water every 0-1 weeks.

Fertilization Thymus serpyllum : In the summer let’s continue fertilizing our aromatic plants regularly, every 15-20 days, using a specific fertilizer for green plants. We can also decide for a slow release fertilizer: in this case the fertilizer should be placed near the plant, every 3-4 months.
